Had a great time with my friends! We visited a nearby historic abbey and took a lovely hike. The rooms were clean, and we appreciated the friendly staff. Breakfast was decent, but expect some busy times. It felt cozy and relaxed, almost like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend it for a group getaway.
One downside was the lack of presence at reception during the night. We had to wait for attention, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be great if they improved their staffing during late hours.

If you need a break, this place will do just fine
The staff were great, nothing too much bother for them. I had a fantastic cooked breakfast, the haggis with baked beans was a combination I will replicate at home.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still, acceptable considering the overall experience.

Charming atmosphere, cozy bar, lovely garden
Toilets often lack cleanliness, and the shower heads could use a proper scrubbing. soundproofing between rooms is insufficient, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep!!!

The location was brilliant, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The spacious room featured a charming seating area with a view of the abbey ruins, a nice touch for relaxation. the selection of cereals at breakfast was disappointing, and the noise from the pub could be heard in the room at times.
